Website SEO Audit Tool automatically scans web pages to reveal broken links, duplicates, redirects, empty or missing tags, loading errors and server error codes.

The tool performs webmaster's routine tasks on auto-pilot. It examines websites to detect possible issues with indexing, internal and external links, titles, meta-tags, and pictures.


Scan a single page


If you need to scan only one page of your website, follow the below instruction.

  1. Create a project or pick an existing one.
  2. Press a Website SEO Audit tool icon. Website audit
  3. Move to the Audit settings tab. Settings
  4. Enter a page address to scan and press OK. url
  5. Press Scan.


Scan several pages


There are different ways to pick all or some pages of your website to scan.

Option 1


  1. Move to the Audit settings tab.
  2. Copy and paste a list of your website pages (or add manually).
  3. Press Scan.

Option 2


  1. Move to the Audit settings tab.
  2. Press Folder and select a file that contains a list of pages; or drag and drop it, Drag-n-Drop and press OK.
  3. Press Scan.


Option 3


  1. Move to the Audit settings tab.
  2. Pick Import from sitemap, Import pages from sitemap make sure, you have uploaded a sitemap already, Imported pages and press OK*.
  3. Press Scan.

*You may upload or create a sitemap on the Sitemap tab.

Website Audit tool report


Review


The review tab displays the date of the last Website SEO Auditor report (1), the number of scanned pages, a total number of Warnings and Issues. You can share a Guest link (2) to the Website Audit tool report or export a report into a PDF format.

Summary

Index status


The tool checks the following parameters to scan the index status:

  1. Server response codes.
  2. Pages blocked for indexing by robots.txt.
  3. Meta robots nofollow and meta robots noindex.
  4. Link rel canonical and link rel alternate.
  5. Refresh redirect.

Snippet


The tool checks the following parameters to scan page title (Title) and meta-description (description):

  1. Title and Description (present or missing).
  2. The number of symbols in Title and Description.
  3. Title and Description duplicates.

Links


The tool checks the following parameters to scan Internal and External links:

  1. Link URL.
  2. Type of link (image or text).
  3. Link anchor (present or missing).
  4. Link title (present or missing).
  5. Nofollow (present or missing).
  6. "Broken" links (present or missing).

Images


The tool checks the following parameters to scan Images:

  1. Image URL.
  2. Image Alt-text (present or missing).
  3. Image size (KB).
  4. Broken images.

Content


The tool checks the following parameters to scan Content:

  1. Page title (Title).
  2. Page heading (H1).
  3. Last-Modified.
  4. 304 Not Modified.

Report results


The Website Audit Tool will display results of the report in the table divided into categories described above. You'll get a list of Warnings and Issues for every page in every category.
