Account settings
How do I add or change my account picture?
To add or change a account picture, complete as follows:
1. Go to your Account and hover over your account picture.
2. Upload a photo from your computer.
3. Crop your photo and press Save.
Achievements
All achievements are stored in the account settings and are grayed out by default. You can gain achievement badges for participating in a niche-related events: conferences, trainings, meetups, etc.
To activate the badge, press it, and follow the instruction.
User name
Your default user name is an Email address associated with your account.
To change your user name, complete as follows:
1. Go to your Account and press Edit in the Name field.
2. Change your Name and press Save.
Email address
To change your Email address, complete as follows:
1. Go to your Account and press Edit in the Email field.
2. In the pop-up window enter your new Email, your password and press Update Email address.
We'll send a message with a confirmation link to your new Email address. Click the link to confirm the Email address change. If you don't see the message, please check your Spam folder.
Changing password
To change your password, complete as follows:
1. Go to your Account and press Edit in the Password field
2. Enter your current password, your new password, confirm it and press Change password.
Character encoding
You can pick one of the Character encoding options in the Account settings: utf-8 or windows-1251.
To change character encoding, complete as follows:
1. Go to your Account and press Edit in the Character encoding field.
2. Pick a Character encoding option and press Save.
Delimiter
In a comma-separated values (CSV) file the data items are usually separated using commas as a delimiter (,). But in some cases data items might be separated using other delimiters, for example, semicolons (;).
To change a delimiter, complete as follows:
1. Move to the Account and press Edit in the Delimiter field.
2. Pick a delimiter (comma or semicolon) and press Save.
Time zone
You might need to change a time zone in your account. Selected time zone affects scheduled ranking updates, reports and other scheduled operations.
To change your time zone, complete as follows:
1. Go to your Account and press Edit in the Current time field.
2. Pick a time zone and press Save.
Date format
To select and set a date format for keyword ranking reports (column headers) on the Rankings page, complete as follows:
1. Move to the Account and press Edit in the Date format field.
2. Pick a format and press Save.
Date order (Rankings)
By default, the last keyword ranking update is displayed near a keyword. You may switch to the reverse date order to make the last update display in the end of the row.
To select and set a date order, complete as follows:
1. Move to the Account and press Edit in the Date format field.
2. Select a date order (Default or Reverse) and press Save.
Social media
Use Telegram or Google+ accounts to sign in to Topvisor without entering your password. To link a social media profile, pick a social media icon in the Linked accounts field and wait for the OAuth authorization to complete.
API key
You can get a Topvisor API key only after you top up your balance. To get an API key, go to the Account, press Create to get a key or Change, if you need to update an existing API key.
