Color tags in project listUse color tags to manage, sort and group projects without creating folders. Applied tag(s) are displayed at the left, on the project panel. You can quickly search and select tagged projects, by selecting the tag in the drop-down menu on the toolbar.
How to use tags
By default all tags are named after their colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Purple, Green, Magenta, Dark blue and Turquoise. If you need to rename a tag, hover over it, press a pencil icon, and enter a name. To confirm, press a pencil icon once again.
To change tag sorting, complete as follows:
- Open a drop-down menu.
- Pick a tag, for example, the most used one.
- Click it, hold and drag to the top of the list.
Add multiple tags
You can add multiple tags to the same project to use them as a filter. Select and click tags to add them. To remove a tag, select it in the drop-down menu and click again.
To add one or many tags, complete as follows:
- Create a project or pick one from the list.
- Click on the left edge of the project panel.
- Pick and add one or several tags.
You can add up to 4 tags to the same project.
If you added several tags to the same project: green, yellow, red, blue, etc., you may need to exclude some of them from the filttered project list. For example, you may need to exclude a project with a blue tag, if you applied a yellow and a red tag filter. To exclude a tagged project, complete as follows:
- Open a drop-down tag list.
- Pick a tag to exclude.
- Press and hold ctrl (or cmd for Mac).
- Click a tag.
A tagged project will be automatically excluded.
