Keyword Research: Google Keyword Planner

AdWords (Google AdWords) is an advertising service by Google for businesses wanting to display ads on Google and its advertising network. Google Keyword Planner (Keyword Planner) is a free AdWords tool for building new Search Network campaigns or expanding existing ones. You can search for keyword and ad group ideas, see how a list of keywords might perform, and create a new keyword list by multiplying several lists of keywords together.

To research keywords with AdWords and pull keywords from Google Keyword Planner, follow the below instruction.

  1. Move to the Keywords page.
  2. Press on the dashboard.
  3. Pick Keyword research.
  4. In the pop-up window check a box near Google AdWords (1) and add one or several locations (2). Keyword research with Google Keyword Planner
  5. Enter one or several keywords to trigger keyword research (4).
  6. Press Research (4)

Researching relevant keywords for one phrase in one location will cost $0.1. The total cost will be calcualted automatically.

The Keyword research tool pulls all keywords the Google Keyword Planner displays for a specific phrase. In most cases the number of keywords gathered for one phrase doesn't exceed 800. The number dispalyed near group's name indicates the Google location of research.
