Toolbox tools cost the same as when used within projects in Topvisor. You can find full pricing details on our pricing page.
What’s the difference between using tools inside Topvisor project and via the Toolbox?
The tools work the same way in both cases. For example, keyword search volume results will be identical whether checked in the project or through the Toolbox. The key difference is workflow: Toolbox allows you to run checks without creating a project or setting up search engines — everything is done on a single page. However, Toolbox results are available for only 24 hours, while project data is stored indefinitely.

Are there any Toolbox tools besides keyword volume?
Not yet — Toolbox currently supports only keyword volume checks. But we’re actively working on adding more tools.

Is there a difference between using the API with Projects vs. the Toolbox?
There’s no fundamental difference — choose the option that fits your workflow best. Use the standard API for projects if you're building something long‑term (e.g., rank tracking, grouping, ongoing keyword research). This involves multiple API calls to create a project, add keywords, choose search engines, etc.
Use the Toolbox task‑based API for quick, one‑off checks or temporary semantic research you don’t plan to keep working with.

How long are tasks stored in Toolbox?
Tasks are stored for 24 hours. After that, the task and its data will be automatically deleted.
What if I want to keep my keywords for future use?
You can export the task results and import them into a Topvisor project. The keyword volume data will carry over automatically — no need to recheck it.
